Dental radiographs show us problems that may be occurring in your mouth that aren’t visible to the naked eye. For example, cavities or bone loss from gum disease. Even an abscessed tooth may be symptom-free but an infection will often show up on a routine x-ray.

If your exam and/or x-rays determine that you have a cavity or some other dental issue that needs attention, it’s best to plan the procedure quickly. That way you can use your dental insurance coverage before it expires for the year.
